The YQNT ID Series 32A 30mA RCCB is a high-performance Residual Current Device (RCD) engineered to provide reliable earth leakage protection and personal protection against electrical shock in low-voltage distribution networks. Compliant with international IEC/EN 61008-1 standards, this 32A residual current circuit breaker detects sinusoidal AC residual currents and swiftly disconnects the power supply within milliseconds when a fault or human contact occurs.
Available in both 2P 32A 30mA RCCB (1P+N) for 230V 32A RCCB single-phase systems and 4P 32A 30mA RCCB (3P+N) for 400V 4P RCCB three-phase electrical networks, the YQNT ID series delivers superior reliability, cold temperature endurance down to -25°C, and a high conditional short-circuit capacity of 10kA.

Inside every YQNT 30mA residual current circuit breaker, a precision-engineered Zero-Sequence Current Transformer continuously monitors the current balance between line and neutral conductors. When an insulation fault occurs, or a human touches a live conductor, creating a residual leak exceeding 30mA, the ZSCT induces a trip signal to activate the ultra-fast electromagnetic tripping mechanism in less than 0.1 seconds.
Although pure Residual Current Device / RCD units do not contain integrated thermal-magnetic overload trips, the YQNT ID series is robustly designed to withstand up to 10kA short-circuit fault currents when paired with an upstream $80\text{A gG}$ fuse ($I_{nc} = 10\text{kA}$). This high withstand capability protects internal contacts and transformers from severe damage during transient fault surges.
Marked with the cold-climate snowflake symbol, the internal mechanical springs, trip latches, and insulation materials are rigorously tested to operate smoothly in extreme environments down to -25°C. The outer housing is crafted from high-strength, flame-retardant thermoplastics (UL94 V-0 rated) to prevent electrical fires and ensure long-term durability.
2P RCCB for single phase distribution: The 230V 2P RCCB 30mA configuration isolates both line and neutral lines, making it the ideal choice for residential consumer units, residential branch circuits, and single-phase commercial equipment.
4P RCCB for three-phase distribution: The 400V 4P RCCB 30mA variant handles three-phase lines plus neutral ($3\text{P}+\text{N}$), protecting complex commercial systems, HVAC units, and industrial control panels.
Visual Safety Window: A clear contact status indicator window shows "O·OFF" in green when contacts are fully open, guaranteeing safe isolation during routine maintenance.
Regular Test Button: Located on the front cover, the TEST button allows maintenance staff and homeowners to perform regular operational checks to verify internal mechanical and electronic responsiveness.
Residential Electrical Distribution Panels: Installed as an incoming main or branch residual current switch to provide earth leakage protection against lethal electric shocks for household appliances and socket circuits.
Commercial & Office Infrastructure: Perfect for 230V 32A RCCB lighting sub-panels, server room auxiliary power, and commercial kitchen power supply boards.
Industrial OEM Control Cabinets: Serves as a reliable 4P 32A 30mA RCCB safety isolation component in industrial pump control boxes, automated packaging machinery, and temporary site power boxes.

FAQ
A: No. An RCCB (Residual Current Circuit Breaker) is purely dedicated to earth leakage protection and shock prevention. It does not replace an MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker). To achieve full system protection against overloads and short circuits, pair this Residual Current Device (RCD) with a suitable backup fuse (e.g., SCPD FUS 80A gG) or an MCB.
A: A 30mA residual current circuit breaker is the international standard for personal life safety. Residual currents above 30mA passing through the human body can cause ventricular fibrillation. Higher trip ratings like 100mA or 300mA are intended solely for equipment and fire protection.
A: Terminal "N" is explicitly marked on the housing. For correct operation of the internal transformer and test circuit, the incoming neutral conductor must be connected to the "N" terminal.
