The YQNT 32A 30mA RCCB is a residual current circuit breaker designed to disconnect an AC circuit when residual current exceeds the specified operating level. It is available in 2-pole 230V and 4-pole 400V configurations for different low-voltage distribution systems.

With a rated current of 32A and rated residual operating current IΔn 30mA, the device is intended for residual-current and earth-leakage protection in distribution boards. A built-in TEST button allows the residual-current trip function to be checked periodically.

Although pure Residual Current Device / RCD units do not contain integrated thermal-magnetic overload trips, the YQNT ID series is robustly designed to withstand up to 10kA short-circuit fault currents when paired with an upstream $80\text{A gG}$ fuse ($I_{nc} = 10\text{kA}$). This high withstand capability protects internal contacts and transformers from severe damage during transient fault surges.

Cold Resistance Performance Down to -25°C & Flame-Retardant Enclosure

Marked with the cold-climate snowflake symbol, the internal mechanical springs, trip latches, and insulation materials are rigorously tested to operate smoothly in extreme environments down to -25°C. A: No. An RCCB (Residual Current Circuit Breaker) is purely dedicated to earth leakage protection and shock prevention. It does not replace an MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker). To achieve full system protection against overloads and short circuits, pair this Residual Current Device (RCD) with a suitable backup fuse (e.g., SCPD FUS 80A gG) or an MCB.

Q2: What is the benefit of choosing a 30mA sensitivity RCCB over a 100mA or 300mA model?

A: A 30mA residual current circuit breaker is the international standard for personal life safety. Residual currents above 30mA passing through the human body can cause ventricular fibrillation. Higher trip ratings like 100mA or 300mA are intended solely for equipment and fire protection.

Q3: What is the installation standard for the neutral wire on a 2P 32A 30mA RCCB?

A: Terminal "N" is explicitly marked on the housing. For correct operation of the internal transformer and test circuit, the incoming neutral conductor must be connected to the "N" terminal.
