This 25kA Type 1 SPD is intended for first-stage AC surge protection where high-energy lightning current must be discharged before it reaches downstream distribution equipment.
Unlike MOV-based Type 2 products, the LDSP1-A25 uses a multi-layer graphite-gap structure. It is designed for Type 1 SPD AC power protection at service entrances, main switchboards and primary distribution panels.
Available voltage ratings and protection modes allow the product to be configured for different electrical networks. For coordinated protection, the Type 1 lightning current arrester should be selected together with suitable downstream Type 2 SPDs.

Iimp is 25kA per listed protection path.
Iimp Total is the combined value stated in the supplied selection table.
The / symbol means that no value is provided for that protection path.
Do not promote a 4+0 configuration as a 100kA Type 1 SPD. The series-level rating remains Iimp 25kA per protection path.
The product uses a multi-layer graphite-gap structure for high-energy lightning-current discharge. This technology separates the LDSP1-A25 from the MOV-based Type 2 AC SPD series used for downstream transient-overvoltage protection.
The integrated graphite-gap design is intended for first-stage protection where a 10/350μs lightning-current impulse must be handled at the incoming distribution level.
The supplied technical table states a follow-current rating of 100Arms, an Isccr of 25kA and a maximum backup fuse of 315A gG.
Final backup protection must be coordinated with:
The prospective short-circuit current
The upstream protective device
The conductor size
The electrical network
The applicable installation requirements
This Type 1 lightning current arrester is suitable for:
Building service-entrance panels
Main distribution boards
Main electrical switchboards
Incoming low-voltage feeders
Industrial main power panels
Commercial building power distribution
Facilities with external lightning-protection systems
First-stage protection before downstream Type 2 SPDs
This product is intended for AC systems. It should not be used as a photovoltaic DC SPD.
YQNT supports OEM, ODM and private-label Type 1 SPD production for electrical distributors, panel builders, electrical brands and project suppliers.
Available options may include:
Private-label logos and product markings
Customized rating labels and nameplates
Packaging, barcodes and instruction materials
Uc and protection-mode combinations
Product datasheets and catalog materials
Documentation support within the available test and certification scope
Selected product-platform customization, subject to technical evaluation
For an accurate proposal, provide the system voltage, required Uc, protection mode, target market, branding requirements, and estimated quantity.
The supplied technical documentation states an Iimp rating of 25kA per protection path under a 10/350μs waveform.
This is a Type 1 lightning current arrester designed for first-stage protection and 10/350μs impulse-current discharge. Type 2 SPDs are normally selected for downstream 8/20μs transient-overvoltage protection.
The product uses multi-layer graphite-gap technology rather than the MOV platform used in the LDSP1-40 and LDSP1-100 Type 2 series.
Typical positions include service entrances, main switchboards and main distribution boards. Final installation depends on the lightning-protection concept and electrical network.
The supplied technical table lists 275Vac, 320Vac, 385Vac and 440Vac options.
Available configurations include 1+0, 2+0, 3+0, 4+0, 1+1 and 3+1.
The supplied technical table marks both fault indication and remote signalling as unavailable.
The supplied documentation lists a maximum backup fuse of 315A gG. Final coordination must consider the installation short-circuit current and applicable requirements.
