The LDSP1-40 series is designed for Type 2 SPD AC power protection against transient overvoltages caused by indirect lightning effects and electrical switching operations.
Its MOV voltage-limiting design provides an In rating of 20kA and an Imax rating of 40kA per protection path. The pluggable construction allows the protection module to be serviced without replacing the complete base assembly, subject to the installation instructions.
