This Type 1+2 AC surge protective device is designed for incoming low-voltage power distribution systems.
With a maximum continuous operating voltage of 385V AC and an impulse discharge current of 12.5kA under a 10/350μs waveform, the device is intended to conduct partial lightning current while also limiting transient overvoltages before they reach downstream electrical and electronic equipment.
The product is also rated at In 12.5kA under an 8/20μs waveform, combining lightning-current discharge capability with surge-voltage limitation in one modular device.
Typical installation points include main distribution boards, incoming electrical panels and low-voltage distribution systems where coordinated Type 1 and Type 2 protection is required.
The four-module construction is suitable for corresponding multi-conductor AC distribution applications. The exact protection mode and earthing-system compatibility must be confirmed from the product wiring diagram before installation.
1. Combined Type 1+2 surge protection
Designed to provide lightning-current discharge and transient overvoltage limitation within one AC surge protective device.
2. Iimp 12.5kA lightning-current capability
Each marked protection module is rated at Iimp 12.5kA under a 10/350μs waveform.
3. In 12.5kA surge-current rating
The product is also marked with a nominal discharge current of 12.5kA under an 8/20μs waveform for surge-protection performance.
4. 385V AC maximum continuous operating voltage
The JKP1-I12.5 is designed for applications requiring a Uc rating of 385V AC. The system voltage and earthing arrangement must be checked before selection.
5. Voltage protection level of Up ≤2.5kV
The SPD limits transient voltage to the specified protection level under defined test conditions. Up should be checked against the impulse withstand capability of the downstream equipment.
6. High-energy MOV protection element
The internal construction uses a large metal-oxide varistor to provide voltage-limiting performance during a surge event.
7. Modular construction
The multi-module design supports integration into low-voltage distribution equipment and simplifies product inspection and maintenance.
8. Suitable for incoming distribution protection
The product is intended for installation near the entry point of the electrical installation or within the main distribution board, subject to the complete lightning and surge protection design.
9. OEM and private-label support
Yueqing Nantai can support brand printing, product labels, packaging and technical documentation for qualified OEM projects.

The Type 1+2 AC SPD should be selected according to the nominal AC system voltage, maximum continuous operating voltage, earthing arrangement, conductor configuration and required lightning
protection level.
The four-module construction does not, by itself, confirm whether the internal protection arrangement is 4+0 or 3+1. The correct wiring diagram must be checked before the product is specified for a TN-C, TN-S, TT or other power distribution system.
Send us the electrical single-line diagram if model or wiring confirmation is required.
