This 20kA Type 2+3 AC surge protective device combines Class II and Class III surge protection functions for low-voltage AC systems.
Its In 10kA, Imax 20kA and Uoc 6kV ratings make it suitable for downstream protection where a compact design and a relatively low voltage protection level are required. Typical installation points include sub-distribution boards, automation panels, machine control cabinets and equipment power-supply panels.
The pluggable MOV modules simplify inspection and replacement. Green/red status indication is standard, while an optional remote contact supports centralized fault monitoring.
For coordinated surge protection, this product can be installed downstream of a Type 1 SPD or a higher-capacity Type 2 SPD.

In is 10kA per listed protection path.
Imax is 20kA per protection path.
Imax Total is reproduced from the supplied model-selection table.
The / symbol means that no value is specified for that protection path.
The 1+1 and 3+1 configurations use a dedicated 255Vac N-PE module.
Do not promote the 4+0 model as an “80kA SPD.” The series rating remains Imax 20kA per protection path.
The series provides voltage protection levels from Up ≤1.2kV to ≤1.6kV, depending on the selected voltage version.
This low residual-voltage design makes the product suitable for downstream panels and sensitive electrical loads, including automation controllers, power-supply units, electronic control systems and building-control equipment.
The Uoc 6kV rating supports combined Type 2 and Type 3 surge-protection applications where both distribution-level and equipment-level protection are required.
Each protection module can be removed from the base for inspection or replacement.
The front indicator provides clear operating status:
Green: Protection module operating normally
Red: Protection module requires replacement
The 20kA Type 2+3 AC surge protective device is suitable for:

Industrial control cabinets
PLC and automation panels
Machine control systems
Building-management systems

A Type 2+3 SPD combines Class II and Class III surge-protection functions. It is used for downstream distribution and sensitive-equipment protection after the main surge-protection stage.
The series is rated at In 10kA and Imax 20kA per protection path under an 8/20μs waveform.
Uoc is the open-circuit voltage used for the combination-wave test associated with equipment-level surge protection. The supplied technical documentation specifies a Uoc value of 6kV.
This product has lower discharge-current ratings but adds Type 3 protection characteristics, a Uoc 6kV rating and lower Up values for downstream and sensitive-equipment protection. The 40kA Type 2 SPD is intended for higher-capacity distribution-board protection.
The available main-module ratings are 275Vac, 320Vac, 385Vac and 440Vac.
The 1+1 and 3+1 configurations use a dedicated 255Vac N-PE protection module.
The series supports 1+0, 2+0, 3+0, 4+0, 1+1 and 3+1 configurations.
